Welcome to my Mp3 Downlaod Blog - Fast Sounds loading

One of the great things about the PSP is how it uses commonly used media formats. For example, playing music requires just mp3s. Sony, in a shrewd move, did not require their own format for music. Therefore, mp3 psp downloads are no different than any other MP3 download. Just go to iTunes or wherever you find your music (I won't tell).

All you need to do from there is open up your memory stick, either with a USB cable (the kind that works with cameras) or a card reader. From there, navigate to the PSP folder, and then the MUSIC folder. Just drop all your MP3s into that folder, and you're good to go! From there, all one has to do is go to Music in the media crossbar and enjoy all their favorite tunes.

With the 3.00 firmware, visualizations are added, so if you are so inclined, you can "watch" your music. Your music library is only limited by the size of your Memory Stick Pro Duo, but as of this writing, prices on these memory sticks have become far more affordable.

A 4GB memory stick can go for as little as 65 dollars, where at the PSP's inception, the same memory stick would be something around 600 dollars. 4GB is largely than many iPods, so your PSP can certainly be a one-stop music center, if you are so inclined.

Even though the PSP has a preferred music format, ATRAC3, it hasn't really been properly utilized as yet. ATRAC3 allows for more information on the music you are playing, at the same high fidelity audio. Right now, your best bet for free psp music is your own computer. Looking for free psp music downloads is no different from looking for mp3s. Where you get those free mp3s is your own business.

Whether they are psp music downloads or for other uses, you can get them from the same places. Of course, if you are willing to pay, iTunes has a remarkably thorough selection of mp3s for you to download. In addition, since the inception of the video iPod, music videos have become available through iTunes. These videos can serve as psp music videos, as they are already pre-formatted to work on your PSP.

Videos for the iPod come in the MP4 format, which is the same format the PSP uses. The only downside, of course, is the aspect ratio. Your PSP is versatile enough to stretch the 4:3 aspect to 16:9, however, but that is up to you. Television shows should typically stay in a 4:3 aspect ratio and DVDs are native to the 16:9 ratio.

The future looks bright for dedicated PSP media, however. With the inception of the Playstation 3, Sony has been developing an online store that works in conjunction with both the Playstation 3 and the PSP. As this store develops, the likelihood is high that more ATRAC3 format music will appear on the online store, as well as videos. They wouldn't want to miss out on any profits after all, right?
